My love of gems and jewellery began as a young child fossicking through my grandmother’s jewellery box and spending my pocket money on little gems and geodes.

With nearly 20 years in the jewellery trade, I have worked as a designer, illustrator, gemmologist and valuer both in New Zealand and London. I gained my formal gemmological, diamond grading and jewellery valuation qualifications during my time in the United Kingdom.

I have worked alongside many clients over the years so I understand the process of creating a special piece of jewellery. I will aim to share my love and knowledge of gems and jewellery with you in the hope you come away with some new-found knowledge of your own.

I have always thought that there’s a little bit of magic that happens in the coming together of metal and mineral, and I always feel a great sense of privilege being a part of my client’s special moments and milestones. I look forward to sharing the journey with you.
